SONORAN STORIES

August 23 – November 7, 2018 | Main Gallery
Reception with the Artists | Thursday, August 23rd | 5:30 – 8:00 pm

Out in the desert there is much to be found; behind every rock, stories abound.

Every stratum of earth within the 100,000 square miles of the Sonoran Desert contains the history and lore of the people and creatures that walked them. Since the dawn of time people have visually recorded the events that surrounded them; our present day multicultural civilization is no different.

SONORAN STORIES  will present engaging chronicles of the quixotic oracles, factual histories and puzzling mysteries found in the Sonoran Desert; relayed and conveyed by the creative hands and minds of artists of all kinds. Those Arizona Artists who seem to know every in and out and roundabout the desert offers, proffered with intelligence, emotion, wisdom and wit. Every picture tells a story. Don’t it?
